Brandon is a third-generation professional musician, who was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He attended High School at Booker T. Washington School for the Performing and Visual Arts in downtown Dallas, along with fellow members of New Bohemians (Edie, Kenny and John), and is a founding member of the group.

In 1995 Brandon moved to the Texas Hill Country outside of Austin with his wife Libbey and daughter Alina, and chose to reside in the small town of Blanco, TX.

As a resident of Blanco, Mr. Aly worked for many years as a band director/percussion instructor for the local school district, as well as playing drums for several local Austin area bands and continued to work with New Bohemians. Brandon loves playing drums and lifting people’s spirits through music!
